This workshop will focus on the development of plurilingual practices in the classroom. After a presentation of plurilingualism, a concept first presented in the CEFR and further developed in the CEFR Companion Volume, participants will be invited to consider their own plurilingual profiles and trajectories. They will then have the opportunity to consider in break-out groups a series of examples of plurilingual activities, and to discuss and suggest plurilingual practices suitable for their teaching contexts. The webinar will be moderated by Enrica Piccardo. Enrica Piccardo is Professor of Applied Linguistics and Language Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto.
