Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n

On Monday and Tuesday, 26-27 September 2022, the final project conference Languages Matter – Using Languages to Respect Diversity, Benefit the Brain and Ensure Peace<\/strong> took place at the Faculty of Education in Ljubljana and via Zoom.<\/p>\n

The conference brought together 150 authors with 125 papers, which were presented either as oral or poster presentations. The conference also featured 6 plenary speakers from abroad: experts in the field of multilingualism and translanguaging, Dr. Jasone Cenoz, Dr. Ofelia Garcia, and Dr. Li Wei; a teacher of German for immigrant students in Switzerland, Martina Kolari\u010d; and experts from the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECMJ; ECML\/CELV), Selin \u00d6nd\u00fcl and J\u00e9r\u00f4me B\u00e9liard.<\/p>\n
